Gaze Reader
A webcam e-reader that turns the page when your gaze reaches the end of the last line. Everything runs in the browser and no video leaves your machine. In simulation, pages turned within 1.5 seconds in all 24 seeded runs.
First-year engineering student at the University of Toronto. I want to build machine learning systems.
I'm in TrackOne (General First Year) Engineering at the University of Toronto and plan to go into Computer Engineering. I graduated high school with a 97.6% top-six average and an AP Capstone Diploma.
My projects so far include an e-reader that turns pages by tracking your gaze and a Monte Carlo physics package checked against exact solutions. I also led structures on a team that won a national space design contest, and I played badminton for Canada.

Monte Carlo simulation of lattice spin models (Ising, Potts, XY, spin glass), checked against exact solutions. For the 2D Ising model it recovers the critical inverse temperature to 0.440714(16), against the exact value of 0.4406868.
Added 1D–3D point support to radius_search on both backends, and made facet extraction work under dynamic torch.compile by specializing on cell width.
Added type hints to jax_md.quantity and documented the arguments and output shapes of pair_correlation.
Our team's project, Saoirse, won the Grand Prize in the National Space Society's 2026 Space Settlement Contest. It was first of 4,920 entries from 31 countries. The design is a rotating settlement for 10,000 residents at the Sun–Mars L2 point. We also placed 3rd in 2024 and received an Honorable Mention in 2025.
I led structures for the 11-student team and was the only student credited on the Structure chapter. It covers an 8.5 m by 100 m central spine and about 100 superconducting magnetic bearings, split into 12 modules so that one failure costs 8% of capacity.
At a three-person creator-finance startup, I built five revenue-platform integrations (Patreon, Gumroad, Whop, Spotify for Podcasters and Substack) using Next.js, Fastify and PostgreSQL. I merged 9 pull requests in two weeks and redesigned the landing page.
I ran a pre/post study with 11 students on how they engage with AI writing feedback, and wrote a 5,000-word paper.
I played for Badminton Canada's junior national team and won silver in U17 boys' doubles at the 2024 Pan Am Junior Championships.
